Cancellation Policy and Terms and Conditions

Booking information

Once we've received your booking information with your payment, you will be sent confirmation details and a receipt if required. The CBI is not responsible for the non-arrival of confirmation documents. Your booking will be acknowledged within two weeks, if you do not hear from us within this time please contact the CBI Events Team on 0800 983 0093.

Cancellation policy

If you have booked places at the conference and/or conference dinner and subsequently have to cancel, we ask that you let us know as soon as possible. Cancellations received in writing by the CBI Events Team by 5pm on Friday 21 October 2011 will incur a cancellation fee of 40% of the total invoiced. We regret that we cannot give refunds for cancellations received after this date, although substitute delegates or dinner guests are very welcome. The CBI reserves the right to cancel the event and to change the venue and content of the programme at any time.

Code of conduct

The CBI annual conference is a high-level platform for discussion and debate. We request your co-operation in supporting the conference organisers, officials and other delegates in obtaining the best out of the conference. Intimidating and disruptive actions or antisocial behaviour directed at speakers, panellists, officials or other delegates are grounds for removal from the site, and may lead to disciplinary action.

The CBI reserves the right to refuse entry to delegates for non-payment, failure to supply a recent photograph or failure to comply with the code of conduct.

Delegate photographs and contact details

Delegates will be issued with photo badges. Delegates must supply a recent colour passport style photograph either by uploading directly to the event website www.cbiannualconference.org.uk or by emailing to conference.photos@cbi.org.uk. Please contact the events team on 0800 983 0093 if you have any difficulties uploading or sending your photograph. Failure to supply a photograph will delay your registration and may result in you being refused entry to the event.

All delegates must provide a current email address. Web based email addresses, for example yahoo and hotmail, may be subject to additional security checks.

Data protection policy

The information provided on this form will be used by the CBI to administer the event you are attending. In doing so, it may be necessary to transfer this information to third party processors – arrangements are in place to ensure that such information is protected. The name and company details given on this form may also be used by the CBI to send you other relevant information including invitations to events and details of publications.
